Heavy industrial phone call records database created a performance challenge when it came to billing and reporting.
Solution
Used nightly routines to produce report views for the day before.
Organized the code for maximum performance. Multithreaded and cached data obtaining routes.
This improved performance, so the user was able to receive pdf reports within a page load time without timeouts.
